The lake is known for its clear water and abundance of fish, including walleye, bass, and northern pike. Gull Lake is also surrounded by several resorts and vacation homes, making it a popular destination for boating, swimming, and fishing enthusiasts. In the winter, the lake is also a popular spot for ice fishing and snowmobiling.
